Hotels near United Center

The United Center is to be found in Chicago’s West Loop. As a district, it is pretty central and as such, there are a tonne of choices of hotels and hostels for you to pick from! It’s status as one of the biggest cities in America really benefits visitors with there being some affordable options!

Three of Chicago’s top hostels are all a within a couple of miles of the United Center and all three of Hostel AAE, Hostel Holiday Jones and Urban Holiday Lofts can all offer you a double room for under $80! Yes, these are hostels and not hotels – but if you are looking for a place that sacrifices luxury for a bit more soul and fun, then these places are right for you. They all have common areas that are built with making friends top of the agenda and the games room and Urban Lofts is a great place to mingle and play some pool! In fact, if you are travelling to the United Center in a group – just get a 4-bed room, and split the cost! Economical, fun and convenient, leaving more cash to spend in some of the great Beer Bars around the city!

Fieldhouse Jones, The Whitehall Hotel and Freehand Chicago are all brilliant choices if you want to spend a little more on your accommodation but still don’t want to break the bank. Freehand Chicago and Fieldhouse Jones really combine the hotel and hostel environments. They were built with a hip design in mind, and so both places have really unique atmospheres and make you remember that you are in one of the coolest cities in America. They both also have fantastic private rooms available for around the $150 mark – rooms that wouldn’t look out of place in some of the cities swankiest boutique hotels. If you don’t mind sharing a room however, you can get a bunk bed (trust me, it doesn’t look or feel like a bunk bed) for around $35. It’s one of the most luxurious ‘dorm rooms’ I’ve ever seen. The Whitehall however is all hotel – and with beautiful rooms, a location you can’t beat (6 minutes from the beach) and a cracking breakfast – you can’t beat it for the price!

Perhaps you are visiting the United Center in a celebratory mood – in that case, you should spoil yourself and opt for one of Chicago’s top rated hotels. They do come with a price of around $250 a night – but the opulent rooms, top class staff and the surroundings make the price tag worthwhile. The Robey has hardwood floors and 400-thread count sheets that make the light and airy rooms even better, whereas at the Ivy, the Boutique style and the wonderful bathrooms make an immediate impression on the guests. The Westin may tempt you though with its spacious rooms including a plush seating area, marble bathroom and a coffee maker with Starbucks coffee.
