Vancouver is a fairly new city and doesn’t have the historic component that Montreal does. However, what it lacks in history significance, it makes up for in its unbelievable scenery. A plethora of beaches and mountains surround the city to give it breathtaking views and people have since dubbed it “Hollywood North” because of its fashion boutiques and alternative take on food. To complement this atmosphere, Vancouver residents are some of the most passionate sporting fans in the world and often blow the socks out of visitors when it’s their turn to host a sporting event. Finally, don’t speak a bad word about the Vancouver Canucks NHL team and make sure they’re the team you’re cheering for if you can’t decide who to follow.
