Oriole Park Tickets
333 W Camden St, Baltimore, MD 21201, United States
There are plenty of unique fields across the MLB, but how many stadiums really stand apart? A trip to Oriole Park at Camden Yards offers a one-of-a-kind stadium view that can’t be found elsewhere. It all starts when you walk through one of the main gates.
Being closest to the light rail and the parking lots, gates A and H see the most traffic and it works in the stadium’s favor. Both gates are open into the south end of Eutaw St. which is a brick pedestrian walkway that runs from behind centerfield past the right-field stands. Here you will find the barbeque stand run by the 1970 MVP, Boog Powell. Besides the great sandwhiches, Powell is often there signing autographs. Eutaw St. is located just below what gives Camden Yards such a unique view for fans.
The B&O Warehouse behind Eutaw St. was built in the early 1900’s but has been maintained over the years. It is the longest building on the east coast rounding out at 1016 feet and running the length of right field. While it was once used for railroads, it now serves as office space for the Orioles, stadium catering and other local firms. The warehouse is located 439 feet from home plate and the only player to ever hit a ball off it was Ken ‘The Kid’ Griffey Jr. in the 1993 Home Run Derby.
In 2012 the Orioles added Legends Park located above the bullpens in center field which features statues of the best players in franchise history. Every game you will find a log-jam of fans trying to get pitchers with the statues of Earl Weaver, Jim Palmer or Cal Ripken Jr.
The stadium is great but maybe you miss the entire experience by spending time with your friends at Pickles Pub located just 771 feet from home plate. Pickles Pub boasts a fantastic menu, great service and always room for one more friend. This is the traditional meeting spot before the game as it is the cheapest and closest watering hole before you enter the gates.
If the sights and tastes weren’t enough, you’ll experience the joyous experience of the National Anthem in Baltimore. The singer is joined by the crowd belting out “OH!” from the line “Oh, say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave?” Win or lose, you will always leave the stadium wanting to share your experience.
