I don’t know about you but I think Germany specialises in meat really really well – so I might be a bit bias when I recommend SteakManufaktur – you can probably guess what they cook by the restaurant’s name but sometimes a steak with all the fixings is just what the doctor ordered. They have a great range here and cook them really well!

For some food that is low on price but high on spice and flavour, you have two great choices. If you want awesome Middle Eastern food, Shushu Falafel does kebabs on hummus like no one else in the city. And If you are wanting some fragrant, fresh flavours– go to Vietnamese restaurant Com Viet.

The best and closest place to have a nice dinner after the match is called ‘Leonardo da Vinci‘. As the name already tells you, they mainly offer Italian food. Great atmosphere and delicious dishes, a bit pricey, though. Another good place to eat, especially to have breakfast, within a distance of under 1km is ‘Cafe Rager‘. A bit cheaper and maybe an easier option to go there before the match. Highlight is the huge breakfast buffet!

The stadium is a fair distance away from the city centre, but right by the university. That means cheap fast food aplenty, with the holy trinity of kebabs, pizza and burgers picked up all over. There isn’t any specific one to recommend, but if you wander up Hugo-Eckener-Straße from the WWK Arena, it won’t take long to find somewhere to suit.

For sit down meals, the best option is to stop in the city centre, where there are Bavarian beer gardens to enjoy traditional fare, as well as pizzerias and Asian restaurants.
