Things to check out around Oriole Park at Camden Yards ?

There is a lot of history located right near Oriole Park at Camden Yards. There is the Sports Legends Museum located directly next to the warehouse. It features all kinds of memorabilia and sports history. Not to mention, it is also the birthplace of the great Babe Ruth.
I don’t think fans can do too much with the warehouse, but it’s a sight to see. A place to check out is the corner bar Pickles Pub which features great food and cheap beer. Much cheaper than the stadium, that’s for sure.

On Eutah Street by the giant flag, You’ll see a number of bronze plaques that look like baseballs. Each one marks the spot of where a home run ball has been hit and landed on Eutaw Street itself. Out in front of Camden Yards is a statue of Baltmore legend and native “Babe” Ruth.
The old warehouse is cool because Ken Griffey Jr. was the first MLB player to hit a home run off of it. It used to be a warehouse but now it’s a cool team store and has a bar and other shops with Oriole’s gear.

What to checkout around Camden Yards depends on two thing; 1) What time the game is & 2) who you are at the game with. An afternoon game with the family could be followed by dinner at one of the many family friendly restaurants at the Harbor then maybe a trip to the Aquarium or Maryland Science Center. If it is an evening game and you are with your buddies, then a late dinner at Canton Ale House could be followed by a trip to Fells Point or Federal Hill to enjoy the post game night life.
