Best Bars around SSE Arena Belfast?

If you are after maximum convenience, you can’t do any better than the bars sitting right under your nose at the Odyssey Pavilion. There are a few different options (including Rockies, the sports bar) which should cater to most tastes. They will, however, be very busy!

For something a little different, try wandering back into Belfast itself. The day of the week is irrelevant, as there are always great bars (day and night) which will lure you in with their Irish charm, excellent service and tasty drinks. The Duke of York comes high recommended!

If you are in the area then head to the Odyssey Pavilion area on the same complex to enjoy all the bars and clubs that it has to offer!

If you are at the SSE to watch the Belfast Giants, then why not stick with the theme and head to Rockies Sports Bar – Belfast’s Canadian themed bar with Ice hockey being a way of life here! With 6 big tv screens as well – you will be able to keep up to date with the sporting news whilst enjoying a pint or two!

For more of an upmarket experience then head to either the Chic Shed, a very funky bar offering up cocktails and other good drinks, that do admittedly come with a big of a price tag – or if you are thinking of making a big night of it, then go to Box Nightclub and party the night away!
