One of Berlin’s most popular tourist attractions is the stadium itself! The stadium has tours that can be tailored to your interests. Fans get their own specific tour, going behind the scenes and seeing the stadium though a player’s eyes, from the press areas all the way down to the changing rooms and heading pitch side! All this for just €9!

Otherwise, you are in Berlin, one of the countries most visited places. See the Brandenburg Gate, go to the Reichstag Building, pay your respects at the Holocaust Memorial and check out checkpoint Charlie!

Köpenick is a small town that was integrated into Berlin only in 1920, and largely retains a feeling of separation from the big city. It is right on the river and when the sun is shining, a very pleasant place to be indeed. It is known as the “green lungs of Berlin” and the forest around the Alten Försterei is as good a place as any to enjoy a walk when the weather permits.

The stadium is located in Berlin Köpenick, a very old distric with great architecture still from the medieval. The stadium itself is not far from “Schloss Köpenick” (castle) and the old, but majestic town hall. If visiting with your kids, there is an enormous playground (FEZ Berlin) only about 600m from ‘Stadion an der Alten Försterei’. Also, the venue is about 3km from the Berlin Zoo, another cool thing to checkout with the entire family.
