How do I get to Stade de Suisse?

The stadium is located in the north of the city and it is roughly 2.5 kilometres from the city centre, as well as the central railway station.
If you are planning to drive, you can use the A1 or A6 motorway and take the Wankdorf exit. When you turn off the motorway, the route to the stadium is well sign-posted.
Public transport is good in the city so you have a few different options. If you are at the railway station, the 9 tram going towards the Guisanplatz direction is your best option, with the stop to get off at being called the same thing.
There is a commuter rails service called the S-Bahn which you can use. The lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S31, and S44 all go to Wankdorf. If you want to get the bus, the number 20 will take you to the Wankdorf Bahnhof stop.

The Stadium is around 3km away from the historical center of Bern and there are plenty of public transport links to the stadium if you don’t fancy the walk!
Trams, trains and buses all around the city run to the Bern Wankdorf station and from there it is just a 5-minute walk to the ground. Don’t worry about a ticket if you are travelling on a match day as public transport is included in your game ticket!
