There are lots of things to keep you entertained in Bordeaux, and there is more than enough stuff to do on a long weekend in the city – why not spend an afternoon by the river and take in the Water Mirror – one of the cities most popular attractions. It is a Unesco World Heritage City, and there is a Heritage tour that you can take, leading all around the city, to its best parts.

Of course though, Bordeaux is most famous for its wine. So why not jump on a bike and take a ride into the countryside to one of the many vineyards and have a wine-tasting day that will live long in the memory (or not)

Taking a walk around before or after the match is really pleasant if you enjoy nature. Parc Floral or Floral park is right next to the stadium and it is a great place to have a picnic. Conference center is in walking distance as well. If you prefer to enjoy the city, go back to Bordeaux and take a walk on Place de la Bourse and enjoy some amazing architecture.
