The stadium is paltry compared to most of the Premier League venues, but it speaks to how far Bournemouth have come over the past few years. The result is a group of fans who are simply ecstatic to have remained in the Premier League, so you can expect the atmosphere to be full of cheers and optimism. Against the majority of teams in the league, a draw or a win means the world to Bournemouth, so the fans will be behind the team for the full 90 minutes. Get there on a big day and you could believe you were in a stadium 3 times the size!

Bournemouth FC and it’s fans have been on a roller-coaster the last few years – they have risen from lower league obscurity to the Premier League and are quickly making the top flight their home. As such there is always an air of optimism around the ground, no matter who they play – every game is a cup final to them and the crowd responds as such!

The atmosphere always gets cranked up at night games as well, with the stadium having a light show – getting the crowd pumped up for kick off!
