The Grand Cru Wine Gallery is a perfect spot to experience a lovely meal while sipping away on some tasty wine. It is beautifully located in an old brick-walled building and the staff is very welcoming to all comers. If you enjoy wine, it is a must-visit and the food is good too. The setting is very cosy and the place feels alive as everyone enjoys the wine, food and great company.

Roxor BRGR & Beer is a great place to eat on a budget and they arguably have the best burgers in the city. They will make the burger to your exact preference, despite only having a few burgers to choose from. This is a case of the staff knowing what they do well and doubling down on their strengths to create a memory that is long lasting.

Prasna Basta is not only home to some of the best cuisine in Bratislava but it has one of the most popular retaurants in the city for years. It is very low key and with jazz music playing, it might bring you back to some of the avant garde days of the city. If you are feeling like you want to treat yourself – you have to get the fried cheese and fries. Trust me you won’t regret it.

Slovak Pub is not only a must see on the bar side of the city, but if you are after some hearty local dishes that really celebrate the best of Slovakian cooking, then they serve up some great options here. Otherwise, if you are doing some sightseeing at the castle – check out the restaurant Modra Hviezda. Found underneath the castle, the restaurant is set in the cellars and a great setting for dinner.
