Turf Moor feels like a small stadium in the Premier League, but in fact it holds a good deal over 20,000 fans! Burnley have called it home for over 130 years and there’s a feral pride amongst supporters who come every week to defend their top-flight status. The stadium itself has two fairly new stands (the James Hargreaves Stand and the Jimmy McIlroy Stand) which are smart, modern and make a pleasant home for the executive boxes! Otherwise it looks (and feels) like a pretty old, worn out stadium. If Burnley’s premier league success continues, it won’t be long until renovation works – or perhaps an entirely new build – are in the pipeline.

One of the oldest stadiums in the country – Turf Moor is a grand old ground, with features that remind you of its history. Whilst big wooden seats may have a charming effect on away fans – be sure to bring a cushion! Pubs around the ground welcome home and away fans and so the atmosphere is always one of friendliness and competitiveness.
