The Sachsenring is right outside of Chemnitz. If coming by car you will either be headed towards Chemnitz on the highway A4 or A72. Make sure that you exit either one of the highways Liechtenstein / Hohenstein-Ernstthal or Stollberg West. You want to get onto the road B180. Once you are on that very street just follow the signs that lead you towards “Sachsenring”. The address is “Am Sachsenring, 09553 Oberlungwitz”.

With its location by a smaller German town, there aren’t too many options to choose from when it comes to transport. Driving seems to be the most popular way and there is plenty of parking at the circuit – however it will cost you €40 for a weekend parking pass.
If you are coming in by train you will want to travel to Hohenstein-Ernstthal station. From here it is a little less than a half an hour walk to the circuit – with a taxi costing you around €15.

The Sachsenring is by necessity quite far from any town, but that doesn’t mean that it is hard to reach. You’ve got a car, probably, as you’re going to a motorsports event, so take the exit from Autobahn 4 at Hohenstein-Ernstthal and follow signs. Parking is easy and costs €40 for a whole race weekend. It isn’t too difficult to get to the track by public transport. Hohenstein-Ernstthal is easily reached from Chemnitz via train and the Sachsenring is just a 20 minutes walk from the train station.
