There are public transportation options, but driving is the best way. Unlike Wrigley Field and US Cellular Field, the L does not stop right at the United Center, so getting off the train and walking in an unfamiliar neighborhood is not ideal. However, if you live in certain suburbs, there may be a public transportation option that would drop you off right at the United Center. For instance, there is a United Center Express PACE bus from Schaumburg. However, in sum, driving is the best way to get to the game because public transportation options are not ideal.

Driving is the best way to get to the game. With the amount of parking lots that are around, finding a spot shouldn’t be a problem at all, taking a bus or taxi has its tardiness risks. Sure you have to deal with tons of traffic but if you live in Chicago you should be used to that anyway.
