Kinda depends what you like. Some fans are all about convenience after a game, making the Frankie & Benny’s just outside the stadium seem like the dream option. The food is good, though sometimes service can be slow when there’s considerable traffic.

If you can handle the 10 minute stroll back into town, then there is no shortage of great eateries there. Derby does pubs brilliantly, but it’s also a dab hand at fine dining for those who want to really make the most of the weekend!

In the immediate vicinity of the ground there are some more retail chain restaurants such as Frankie and Bennies and Subway as well as local cafe Igors.

There are two incredible Indian restaurants a little over a mile away – Viceroy Derby and Anoki both fill up quickly, especially on the weekends, so be sure to book up in advance!

If you fancy a small 1.5 mile cab ride though then you can find yourself at Cucina, Derby’s second rated restaurant – a fantastic Italian – it is on the pricier scale; but if you are watching a game to mark a special occasion then you should definitely check it out.
