I would pay for upper deck seats and then sneak down after the first quarter to the bottom level since the seats aren’t selling out like they once did. The economy has been rough for Detroit and as a result people have not been coming out to the games.

Go and see Disney on Ice or a concert at the Palace. The shows are great and very affordable with good seating that makes it feel like you are in the front row. There are always specials on the radio and in stores offering these tickets so take advantage of them.
