The atmosphere at Stade Gaston Gerard is a rather strange one – while most smaller clubs use their acoustics and smaller stadium to their advantage creating an intimidating cauldron of noise – any atmosphere that may be here is lost through the barren East Side of the ground. The fact that the club is in Ligue 2 does nothing the help the vibe at games as the big boys of PSG, Monaco and Marseille simply don’t come calling.

The stadium’s crowd is not the hot-blooded one you can find in some other French stadiums. People are friendly, calm and welcoming. Watching a match there you will feel relaxed and at ease. This is the place where you want to bring your entire family, including small children to enjoy the game. The atmosphere is nice and safety is guaranteed.
