The Signal Iduna Park is home to over 80,000 baying Borussia Dortmund fans on a match day – and the stadium has been designed and priced with the fans in mind!
For any diehard fan – you must try and find a seat in the arenas famous South Stand. In here, you will be a part of the clubs famous ‘Yellow Wall’. The stand is the largest single tired stand in Europe – and on a game day it is packed with just under 25,000 fans! Built to mirror the famous Anfield Kop – this is where you’ll find the most fervent supporters. With standing prices starting at €16 – this sells out quick!
The seats are all fantastic in the stadium with steep inclines and high roofs making the place feel intimate and intimidating all at the same time!

Price ranges are from 10,50€ (standing) up to 52,00€ for the best category 1. There are categories 1-6 while 6 are the seats in the back where visibility is still okay due to the stand’s steepness. There are discounts for kids and disabled persons. Generally speaking, it is hard to get tickets for a Dortmund home game although it is the biggest stadium in Germany fitting more than 80,000 people. Try to find out the dates where and when they sell the tickets and be there early! South Stands are usually super crowded, but offer the best atmosphere. However, they’re also great to see from the opposite side.

The Yellow Wall is world-famous and tickets are like gold dust. Count yourself lucky if you get one. Failing that, buy a ticket for along the sides and take in both the game and the atmosphere. Dortmund is ludicrously cheap for such a big club, with €17 seats available. The Signal Iduna Park boasts the highest average attendance of any football stadium in the world and that means that there is always demand, but book early and you won’t be disappointed.
The stands are close to the pitch and nowhere really has a bad view – although if you are lucky enough to get onto the Yellow Wall, you might find your view obstructed by a huge flag!
