Though Dundee itself has a bit of a bad rep when it comes to violence, the fans at Dens Park are usually pretty well behaved! That said, if you go looking for trouble by singing songs in the streets or wearing your team jersey into a home fan pub, you’ll find some.
Otherwise it’s all about atmosphere! The crowd really get behind their team, determined to prove that they are the superior outfit in Dundee. It’s all-singing, all-shouting football for the whole game.

The atmosphere at Dens Park is always a cracking one – especially on games where local rivals Dundee United are involved – that game can be very intense so it might be worth a miss for a fair-weather fan who doesn’t want to get caught up in all the action. Otherwise the atmosphere is generally pleasant and friendly and lots of support!
