The Athletic Arms on Angle Park Terrace is actually quite a famous pub for ale lovers. It has a vast range of top, top quality options. A great options for visiting fans. A couple of alternatives would have to be The Station Tavern and Ryries Bar, each of which is within ten minutes’ walk or so of the stadium. They welcome any away fans, so you have a nice, well-located bar in which to pass a few hours before kick-off!

There is fortunately a number of pubs that are away fan friendly. The Station Bar and Ryries are both fairly close to the stadium itself and always offer a warm welcome! For home fans there are only two places to go! The Tynecastle Arms is only a kick away from the ground and full of famous Hearts memorabilia.

The place that has the best atmosphere though has to be Athletic Arms – despite its morbid location (right next to a grave-yard) it is only a short stroll from the stadium and full of regulars! The pub is so well known with football fans, and serves some fantastic ales – that it’s not unusual for people to order just with just their fingers!
