One of the more fun places in town – Irish Cottage Pub has developed a reputation of being a great place to get a pre-match drink. With it being popular with tourists and locals, you’re bound to find some fellow football fans to enjoy a drink or two with – they have a good selection of both beers and whiskeys!
If you are looking for a place to have a few drinks after the game, then Maxim Furth might be the place for you. It has a lounge/club vibe to it – with a laid back atmosphere – they do have Shisha lounge with as well.

Fürth city center has a great and lively bar scene. Also, this is where most fans meet to have a couple of drinks and beers before they go to the stadium. However, since the football stadium is further outside of the city it’ll be hard to find any lively bars close to the venue. If I had to name a few places to go to I would recommend “Gaststätte zum Seeacker” right next to the stadium or “Gasthof Weigel” only a few meters to walk. They will both offer good Bavarian beer in a nice beer garden atmosphere.

Fürth town centre is a haven for those with a taste for beer. This is Bavaria, which could comfortably claim to be the world centre of brewing, and every city has their own brand. Grüner is what you’ll get both in the stadium and everywhere else, so go for that. They called themselves a “cult drink” from Fürth, and enough of them will certainly have you believing anything you’re told.
