Furth isn’t the biggest town in the world and as such the public transport links aren’t as good as in other towns. Nevertheless, you can embark on buses outside the train station – that take you very near to the ground. Services 173, 174 and 177 all drop off fans at the Friedhof stop – from where it’s just a short walk to the ground.

If you are lucky – the club will have put out special shuttle buses that leave from the station and go directly to the stadium. This only tends to happen with big home games however.

Otherwise if you are coming by car, the club recommends that you park in the Ikea that is half a mile away and then walk from there.

With Fürth being a rather small city there are no trains or metro lines operating in the nearby area. Therefore, you can get to the stadium either by car or by bus. If you get there by car you can park at the IKEA parking lot for free which is easy to access via Highway A73. Get off at the exit Fürth-Poppenreuth and you will immediately see the yellow and blue building.

Getting there by bus is pretty straight forward, too. Get to the Central Station in Fürth and then hop on either one of the lines 173, 174 or 177 until you get to the “Friedhof” (graveyard) station. From there it’s only a few meters by foot.

The Sportpark Ronhof was founded in 1910 as the “Stadium on Ronhofweg opposite the central cemetery” and largely that’s still true, except that Ronhofweg is now Laubenweg. You still need to get off the bus at the stop called “Friedhof” (Cemetery) and walk the rest of the way. Get the 173, 174 or 177 from the main station.

If the weather allows, you can actually walk the whole way from the city centre to the stadium, a leisurely 20 minutes or so. Buy a beer and join the throng.
