Furth is a pretty small town to be honest and there isn’t too much to do here. There are some rather interesting museums in the town such as the Jewish Museum, that highlights what life was like before and in the run up to the Nazi’s taking power. As well as this, there is the Criminal Museum in town that seeks to educate people of all ages that crime doesn’t pay.

Honestly – your best bet might be hopping on a train and making the very short journey to the fairy-tale city of Nuremburg instead.

Within a radius of only 2km you have access to the most popular places to see in Fürth. Moreover, it’s just a ten minute walk away from the city center where you will find the historical town hall and some interesting museums. Or how about just having a nice stroll through the inner city or the flourishing municipal park, not far from the center. Breathe some fresh air and enjoy a couple of minutes of silence before heading towards the lively stadium area.

Fürth largely escaped the fate of Nürnberg in the Second World War and thus the city has many old buildings to enjoy. The whole city is essentially a suburb and there isn’t a great deal going on, but the walk from central Fürth to the stadium is more than enjoyable, should the weather allow it. Take the half an hour stroll with one of the local Bavarian beers and you can detour along the Pegnitz river and then through the cemetery to the stadium, which is very enjoyable.
