Best Insider tip at Ghelamco Arena (Arteveldestadion)?
1 answer
Like many new stadiums across Europe, the Ghelamco arena is a cashless stadium that accepts all major chip and pin cards so bare that in mind. Ticket prices for big games such as Anderlecht, Standard Liege and Club Bruges can increase by as much at 10 euros so be sure to factor that in to any budget constraints.
Ghelamco Arena – Ghent
The Ghelamco Arena or Arteveldestadion as it is sometimes known, was built in 2013 and has a 20,000 capacity.
The new stadium proved to be a lucky charm for home side K.A.A Gent who claimed their maiden Belgian Pro League title in 2014-15 which brought about joyous scenes from the Buffalo faithful.
Whilst the city of Ghent draws visitors from around the world for its beautiful architecture, the Ghelamco Arena is well worth a visit for any football fan.
