Best option for us was to grab a taxi there – it’s pretty cheap and we missed the cold weather and rain!

If you want to avoid a 30 minute walk, the best option is usually to hop in a taxi straight from either Queen Street or Central station, whichever you’ve travelled to. Otherwise, you can get a train to Dalmarnock from Central, which is about 10 minutes from Celtic Park.

There’s plenty of street parking around the stadium, but you might want to get there early to get as close as possible. There will be congestion on leaving, but once you get back on the expressway you’ll be fine!

If you are coming by car then the only real place to park near the ground is the Janefield Street Car Park. If you want to park here then you will have to get here early as spaces are limited and it operates on a first come – first served type deal.

Both Dalmarnock and Bridgetown Stations are about a 5-minute walk from Celtic Park – so train travel really does seem to be the method of choice for most fans travelling to Parkhead. Otherwise catch a bus service that is going to London Road and just walk 2 minutes around the corner!
