Karo Fish Restaurant is one of the top restaurants in town, but you wouldn’t believe it from the prices! They serve some of the freshest fish you’ll ever have – but if you’re not a fan of seafood, there’s not a lot else on the menu…
Instead you should take a seat in Pizza Bande – and enjoy a slice (or 8) of Italy in the middle of Hamburg – with great ambiance, fantastic pizza and tremendous prices. What’s not to like.
But, back to the fish. Bruecke 10 is a great sandwich and coffee that serves up some amazing fish sandwiches! Big flavours and the fact you can get two sandwiches and 2 coffees for €10 is pretty great.

“Stadion Eck” and “Die Raute” are good places to have a small snack before the match. If you want to have dinner after the game, I can highly recommend you a place called “Rach&Ritchy – Das Grillhaus”. A very nice steakhouse with amazing food and nice ambiance. Keep in mind that the prices are, generally seen, pretty high. Nevertheless, in my opinion extraordinary food is always worth it!

Around the Imtech Arena might be a little sparse as far as eating goes, but there is a on option – the official HSV fan restaurant. “Die Raute” – “The Diamond”, after the club’s logo – is open every day for those on the stadium tour or just paying a visit, while on match days you’ll definitely need to book ahead. Aside from that you’re looking at Das Moin Moin, between the stadium and the Eidelstedt S-Bahn station, a perennial fan favourite.
