Great Answer The Toyota Center is located in downtown Houston and is a nightmare to get out of if there are events at the Convention Center or during the same time of a football or baseball game. There is also heavy traffic from travelers, commuters, and everyday fans.

The Toyota Center has pretty bad traffic before a game because of rush hour traffic from the city. After a game there is a backlog trying to get in the freeway but once you are on the freeway you should be pretty good to go for the most part.

Really bad traffic, preparing yourself for the worst traffic ever is advised. You can wait a little to leave and it may create a dent, by traffic is sort of inevitable from the Toyota Center.
