Nothing like a trip to Lost Property after a good match! No, not that lost property- it’s a restaurant in town!

Okay, bad banter aside, Lost Property really is a very good restaurant. It’s got pretty much exclusively 5* reviews online and the menu is exquisite. On top of that, it’s closer to the stadium than the train station route you probably walked on your way in. If you had to pick anywhere to go, I’d book a table there in advance. It’s seriously good.

The popular pre-match pub The Rope Walk does a fair selection of classic British pub food; but if you are after something a little more inspired then you don’t have to walk very far.

Just half a mile away from the stadium is Lost Property, a highly rated Russian restaurant. However for me, you really can’t beat Lebanese food and so I’d have to check out Apadana. The delicious food and the friendly service is topped off by a great free shot at the end – to aid digestion of course.

For the spicier pallet, walk down St Johns Road to Thai Sakon, for some colorful, flavorful Thai food – they’l make it as hot as you can handle it.
