If you want a taste of standard “British” fare, then there’s lots to choose from. For those with a more adventurous palate after a game, there are two “best picks” as far as I know: The Madras and The Aegean. The Madras is a curry house from heaven – the food is perfectly spiced and everything is cooked exactly like you’d expect, without exception. The Aegean is a bit different, offering fresh, unique Greek-style meals. It’s a little pricey, but worth every penny.

If you do a bit of research – you’ll find it worth your while to check out St Stephens shopping centre, especially for some great food before the game. If you have a valid match ticket, then you will find a whole host of great offers awaiting you there:
Handmade Burger (20% off), great Mexican food at El Taco Loco (15% off), for something more Asian inspired, head to Wok & Go Noodle Bar for 10% off.
For more of a grab and go style lunch you should try Burger King (15% off), Bagel Nash (free hot drink with meal) and Krispy Kreme (10% off food and drink).
