Little old Hull has an awful lot going on, but there are a few standout options which work for families, individuals and friend groups alike! Top of the list has to be the Streetlife Museum of Transport. It hits that tricky balance of informative and engaging right in the sweet spot, so young kids can enjoy themselves and adults can learn about everything “street travel-y” Hull has to offer! Sitting in a Victorian horse and cart is a pretty novel experience, I’ve got to say.

Hull is a vibrant northern town and with an ample student population there is always plenty going on.

There are a few museums in Hull, including the ever popular Transport museum and of course there is the magnificent Humber Bridge, however for more of a seaside themed day out, you have to get yourself down the The Deep, a fascinating aquarium, with all sorts of fascinating fish, and of course penguins!
