There’s a Riley’s just up the road (literally a few hundred yards) and snooker/pool halls have always been one of my favourite places to unwind after a game. It’s a relaxed, chatty atmosphere inside and the bar isn’t too expensive. Can’t recommend it highly enough! If you’re more classy than me, then perhaps a visit to New Wolsey Theatre will satisfy your thirst for brilliant live entertainment! It’s about a hundred yards more walking than Riley’s, which is ideal.

Ipswich Waterfront is a newly developed piece of land and is doing wonders to rejuvenate the town in general – make sure to pop down and enjoy some beers in the East Coast sun!Ipswich is a town on the sea and so be sure whilst you are visiting to get the traditional British food of Fish and Chips – there are few things better than enjoying this meal, whilst strolling along the waterfront. Plus there are some amazing boat trips you can take in the harbor and see Ipswich from a different angle.
