Best Food and Drink at Rugby Park?

There’s no alcohol sold in the stadium – as part of an agreement between all Scottish clubs –  so it’s just hot drinks and sugary beverages once you’re inside. However, I have it on good authority that the pies are “legendary” and well worth a go. There’s the other staple hot food as well (like sausage rolls) but nothing exceptional. The Sports Bar is a great place to grab a drink (under the Frank Beattie stand) before a game.

Kilmarcock is no exception to the countrywide ban on the sale of alcohol at football grounds – so if you’re thirsty, you’ll have to make do with a soft drink or more likely a hot one. A cup of tea, coffee or Bovril costs around £2. The pies at Rugby Park have won awards however their most famous offering – the ‘Killie’ pie is no longer being sold due to a trademark battle with the caterers. Nevertheless, there are worthwhile substitutes available at £2.20 each.
