Best Food and Drink at Estadio de Gran Canaria?

Unfortunately there are virtually no stadiums in Europe which offer enough choice on catering to define a “best” food and drink. What’s available is the usual football fare like burgers, which are perfectly fine to keep you going until dinner. However, if you’re going spend your money, I think you should use it for something worthwhile: eat a sandwich or a quick meal before the game, then go for a proper dinner (for not much more money) in the middle of Las Palmas. There you’ll have a gastronomic experience worth paying for, plus you’ll be right by the beach!

Stadiums are not the best place ever to eat and drink. I am talking about the food’s quality and price. Inside the venue you will find only snacks, but If you want a proper meal, just walk a few minutes and you will see a nice place called Timagada. This is one of the best restaurants in the area. You can try here all kind of canarian food like “papas arrugadas” (baked potatoes with tasty sauces). You will not stop eating them!
