Don’t worry too much about buying your tickets in advance and worrying about international postage, or what to do if the printer breaks – Las Palmas don’t really ever sell out, so you can just stroll up and buy your tickets at the stadium, on the day. They’re pretty cheap, so you can include it in your plan and if you get caught up or decide to do something else, there’s nothing lost! It is definitely worth a trip though – much as the locals aren’t enjoying the new stadium, it’s good quality football.

If you are attending a game, it´s better to get to the venue by public transport. Depending on the match, traffic jam can be a nightmare! Usually there is a special bus service operated by Guaguas Municipales in order to connect much better the city centre and the stadium. Use it!
