Thomas Mack is home to the University of Nevada Las Vegas (“UNLV”) Runnin Rebels of Las Vegas, Nevada. It also hosts the NBA summer league games, the Mountain West Conference Tournament and has hosted the Western Conference, Pac 12 Conference and other events over the years. The Rebels have had a prominent basketball team from the 1970’s on and won an NCAA title in 1990 with Larry Johnson, Greg Anthony, and Jerry the “Shark” Tarkanian. The arena is very nice and built for basketball with no real bad seats inside.
