Leipzig, at the moment, is probably one of the best stadiums to visit with your entire family. The arena itself is super modern, ticket prices are fairly cheap and it has been voted the stadium with the “friendliest atmosphere” of all the Bundesliga stadiums. Let’s not forget about the high quality football you are being shown. No wonder, its fans mostly consist of younger people, ultras haven’t had the chance yet to develop a violent scene due to the short history of the club in the professional football scene. No wonder that 10% of all the visitors are under 14, even 30% of the viewers are said to be female.

If you pick up any RB Leipzig merchandise, it really doesn’t pay to wear it anywhere else in Germany. This club are as hated as they come, with most football fans considering them little more than a marketing ploy for an energy drink and an affront to everything football is meant to be about. You’d be putting yourself in the frontline for aggression while also marking yourself out at someone who knows nothing about the sport.

In an effort to boost the atmosphere at their home games, RB Leipzig allow fans to take in a fair amount of kit with them. So, if you are in the mood for making some noise you can bring in a megaphone, drums as well as large flags! Perfect for showing off and making your support known!
