Good news for every football fan – ticket prices for most games of RB Leipzig are fairly cheap! Whereas tickets for the stances are only 10€, the prices for the best category 1 are even more surprising: You only pay 30€ for the best seats in the center of the stadium. Other categories are around 20€. Regarding VIP-tickets you will have to ask indivdually. The stadium was completely modernized in 2004, thus, it has become a great football stadium fitting about 43,000 spectators offering great visibility to every seat. Make sure you book your tickets in advance, the stadium usually fills up right before every match.

The stands are a gradual slope, the upshot of which is that the back of the tier can be a long way away from the pitch. Behind either goal there are “Fanblock” areas, with Sekton B being the cheapest at €10. Even the best seats are still cheap, with €30 getting you a spot on the halfway line. This is something of an acceptance of Leipzig being one of the least affluent areas of Germany and of RB really, really needing anyone to support them.

Unlike many grounds across the county – the Red Bull Arena is an all seated stadium. The stadium had been redesigned and effectively rebuilt in the run up to the 2006 world cup and as such, the present stadium is a very sleek on indeed. The seats are all great, with fantastic sight lines to the pitch. As around the world, the most vocal fan groups sit behind the goals and create a relatively good atmosphere. However, you are a bit far from the pitch as there is a sort of ‘dead space’ between the stands and the pitch.
