As well as being a pre-match favourite for a few beers on their terrace, Haus Am Park, also has a very good restaurant that is worth checking out, especially if you don’t want to walk far after the game. The menu is made up of some very traditional German and European dishes, which really go down a treat!
Sometimes nothing else will do than an enormous steak – luckily, this is what Angus Steakhouse specialise in! Near the BayArena, serving great beer and sumptuous steaks – this is a perfect way to celebrate a Leverkusen win!
If you are after something a little different than German food, Soul Kitchen is the perfect alternative! The Sushi and South Korean restaurant may have cheap prices but it is big on flavour.

There are numerous opportunities to get a snack before any match in Leverkusen. Kebab, Gyros or McDonald’s are within very close walking distance from the stadium (500m max.). If you want to have a nicer dinner after the game, you may want to visit “Haus am Park”. A German locality serving traditional and delicious food. Beautifully located in a smal park area, right next to the stadium. If you walk down Bismarckstreet for a couple more meters you can also find an Italian place called “Stückwerk Pizzakultur”, decent place, too.

It’s not worth beating around the bush. There isn’t a lot around the BayArena to eat and your best bet is a stadium standard bratwurst or the McDonalds across the road. There’s a few places to pick up a kebab and a pizza, like everywhere in Germany, but if you fancy a sit down meal then take the (relatively) short walk into the centre of Leverkusen or just wait until you’re back in Cologne.
