Anfield seating?

Anfield has a capacity of around 54,000 thanks to the new expansion completed in the summer of 2016 and have been split into: Main stand, Anfield road, Kop, Centenary and Upper Main Stand. Unfortunately these aren’t all created equal and It is important to note that there are around 400-500 restricted view seats at Anfield so pick wisely. Specifically, some in the main stand at the end of Anfield Road corner cannot see the goal at that end and at the opposite end some of the seats are restricted by the Kop roof.

The best view of the game can be seen from the Main and Centenary stands which is also where the best atmosphere is. Season tickets for these areas are around £870 or £70 for Match day Premier League prices.

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, the main upper stand are around £9 on match day but wrap up warm as these can get quite blustery and they are furthest away.

Note: There are also plenty of allocated disabled seating and access for disabled fans to book if necessary.

If you’re unfortunate, you’ll receive a ‘restricted view’ ticket; this means there could be support pillars blocking your view, or that you’ll have to deal with a combo of low slanted roofs and standing fans. The website has a list of the restricted seats (and photos of the views) here: http://www.liverpoolfc.com/tickets/anfield-seating-plan

You can take bags inside (everything is seated) but it will be searched at the door. Try to just use your smartphone for photos, as DSLRs may be refused at the gate.

If its atmosphere that you are after then you will have to try and get tickets for the ever popular Kop End, tickets here will vary on who is playing that day but will average at £40 for an adult, £20 for a young adult, £9 for a child and £28 for an over 65 ticket. The best views will be found in the Main Stand  and the Centenary Upper Stand. Tickets here are slightly more expensive and will average at £59 for an adult, £29 for a young adult, £9 for a child and £ 44 for an over 65. There are cheap tickets (£9) to be had in the upper main stand but be wary, the view is very restricted.
