The Emirates Stadium was always going to have a rough time carrying on the legacy of Highbury. For all that it’s a new, flashy stadium, it will take some time to develop the history and character that makes a great football ground! The construction is great, with padded seating and legroom that makes you want to stay in your chair it has all the potential to become great!
Emirates stadium seats over 60,000 and although it hosts other events during the year it is the sporting events that bring the most fans. A pleasant family atmosphere with comfortable seating and plenty of amenities surrounding the stadium means that it is easy to get to and accommodate fussy eaters or a family day out beforehand. While you can’t get cash out at the stadium or take your own alcohol you do have access to plenty of food and drink while you’re there and most of the seats have a decent view with very little restriction. As a stadium with a lot of club history, the tours and museum are plenty to entertain you before kick-off and being close to London city center gives the option for a full day out.
