Lorient have been circling the drain of Ligue 1 for quite a while now, and lacklustre performances on the pitch – have led to a lack of support inside the stadium, making the 18,000 capacity arena feel even smaller than it should be. There are some vocal fan groups such as the Merlus Supporter’s group in the South stand who being banners and flags to the game – but they need the help from the rest of the crowd to inspire Lorient on to greatness.

You are in Brittany, which means that the people here are amazingly friendly. This region of France is well-known for its hospitality and this is also true insight of football stadiums. It is very easy to chat with other supporters—why not even make some friends and get a drink together after the match. You will feel a part of team in no time.
