There are statues of the Lakers’ Magic Johnson and the Kings’ Wayne Gretzky outside the arena at the Star Plaza. Additionally, there are statues of boxer Oscar De La Hoya, Lakers broadcaster Chick Hearn, the Lakers’ Jerry West and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and the Kings’ Luc Robitaille outside the Staples Center.
