Here are some alternatives to driving and using parking lots: 1) Street/meter parking. If you luck out, you’ll be able to find open spaces in surrounding blocks. These become free after 8pm, barring any local cleaning restrictions. 2) Bike it. If you’re staying downtown, Staples Center has hundreds of bike slots in the racks just outside the stadium. 3) Public Transportation Options: There’s the DASH bus that runs every 30 minutes to and from Staples Center. Or, if you’re coming from the Westside, drop your car off at the La Cienega Station (free parking) and take the Metro Expo line to Pico Station, right across from Staples Center.

Parking in the Staples Center lots is one way to go, which is what my party decided to do for our visit. Street parking is also a viable option. Another option besides driving a car to the venue is to utilize public transportation options such as the city buses and trains to get to the Staples Center.

There are a lot of options on how you may choose to travel to the stadium. You can drive and park there, which is likely easiest but can sometimes take a while due to a ton of traffic and massive amount of people usually in the area. My personal favorite is to either take public transit, or simply walk if you have enough time!
