Traffic in Los Angeles is atrocious in general particularly driving during rush hour. Being from the Chicago area, traffic is bad here, but it was even worse in the Los Angeles area. Traffic in the Chicago area can be not too bad during off-peak hours, but it appeared the traffic in Los Angeles during off-peak hours was far worse than driving at the same time in a comparable area of Chicago. Be sure to allow a lot of extra time in order to get to the game when it starts.

After you’ve endured the struggle that is LA traffic and parking, CONGRATULATIONS, you are free to explore one of the greatest sports districts in the world, period. If you’ve got some time before the game (always a good problem to have as the parking structures generally open 2.5 hours prior to events) try some of LA’s bars!

It’s crazy and terrible. That is very typical of bigger cities around the world and L.A is certainly no different. Especially if you are going to an event around the time of rush hour, you are better off taking public transit or finding other means of travel.
