If you’re travelling from Madrid Atocha Renfe Station, then you thankfully don’t have a long way to go! It’s 4km to the other side of the Parque de El Retiro, so if you aren’t pushed for time you could definitely walk there. You get either the C4 or the C2 lines (depending on the time), or the number 26 bus also goes in that direction – remember to alight at Narvaez – Av. Felipe II (the stop) and you’re just round the corner from the arena.

There’s also a car park at the Wizink Center, so driving shouldn’t pose you any problems either!

Palacio de Deportes is situated in Goya neighbourhood and there are many ways to get here. If you use the metro (ticket cost between 1,50 and 2 euro) you can stop in Goya (Lines 2 and 4) or O’Donnell (Line 6). In both cases you will need to walk about 6 minutes from metro station to reach the venue. There are also buses from city centre to the stadium, but traffic jam can be horrible in Madrid, so don’t risk!
