The Palacio is one of those funny venues which is used for all sorts of exciting sports, namely tennis, basketball and boxing! It’s best known as home of the mighty Malaga basketball team Unicaja Malaga – one of the biggest National and European names in the sport. In fact, Unicaja are so popular that they demanded an increased in venue capacity which was duly provided – fans can now enjoy a real entertainment experience at the 11,000-seater! You can fit slightly more fans in for tennis and boxing events (since the court/ring is smaller). As an indoor venue, the noise generated by hungry fans is massive, and the emotion is palpable; great venue!
