Olympic Boulevard, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
AAMI Park is Melbourne’s first purpose built rectangular stadium and has been a roaring success since construction finished in 2010. AAMI Park plays host to the Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City competing in the A-League, Melbourne Storm in the NRL, and the Melbourne Rebels in Rugby Unions Super 15’s competition. The stadium has also hosted matches in the Asian Cup, International Rugby, and is becoming increasingly popular as a concert venue too.
The unique and distinctive Bioframe design with a geodesic dome roof, covers the majority of the seating area. The design enables spectators to enjoy unobstructed views, free from pillars, walls or other support structures. The LED lighting system on the outside of the roof can be tailored to teams colours and provides a spectacular backdrop to the Melbourne skyline.
