Let’s just be candid: the neighborhood around the Hard Rock Stadium is not glitz, glam, and glamour. South Beach is not a very far drive, but it’s not ideal for immediately pre-game festivities. Unfortunately, this Stadium is old school. It’s not centrally located, but somewhat on the outskirts, like Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California. It is what it is.

Definitely check out the general Gardens area, they have a lot of events and concerts that happen year round and if you are lucky, you might be able to catch something while you are there. Other than that, you can visit Antonio’s Pizzeria, really inexpensive, but good pizza. It’s only about a mile out from the stadium.
