It ticks the 3 main boxes for me: good legroom, excellent views and fairly comfortable chairs. Away fans are set up in the East Stand, which offers a splendid overview of the pitch. With 3,000 fellow supporters in tow, there’s a hell of an atmosphere if you’re a traveller!

For home fans, the West Stand definitely offers the best viewing, so upper tier tickets over that way are the most sought-after. There’s a lot of singing with the Red Faction in the South Stand, if you’d rather get involved in the chanting!

Middlesborough are taking advantage of their time in the sun and charging the fans top whack to watch Premiership football. Hey, I mean you can’t really blame them. In the Riversides defense, the legroom is pretty good and the views are great all around the stadium.

For rowdy fans there are only 2 places that you want to sit – behind the goal in the North or South Stand. A ticket here agasint the very top opposition will cost you £35, and a middle table match up £30.

For the best views, take a seat in the West Stand – you’ll pay for it though £34-39 a ticket.
