There are some great restaurants in the town – and even a few near the stadium. One of these has to be Pizzaria Trattoria Vulcannello! Some of the best pizza in the city is here and it is some perfect indulgence food.
The same can be said for China-Restaurant Kaisergarten – it offers a great alternative to the typical German food – popular with locals and tourists alike, make sure you get there for the all you can eat buffet
Salims Grill offers up some no nonsense food with big portions at low prices! Think burgers, schnitzel and fries!

If you want to eat at a place super close to the stadium, you may want to check out “Sportsbar Gladbach”, especially for lunch. They have some good deals.
If you want to enjoy a rather nice dinner after the game, I can suggest you two amazing places. The first one is called “Till Eickmann im Eickes Restaurant”. Absolute highlight: the 7-course meal, fantastic! The place is only about 400m south of the stadion.
The second place is called “Pizzaria Trattoria Vulcannello”, probably one of the best Italian places in the region. Super good food, especially the pizza is ‘YUUMM’ and the staff is very friendly. Cannot go wrong with this option!

On the main Gladbacher Straße that flanks the Borussia Park, there’s a real fine dining place in the form of Palace St George. If that’s a little too refined for a day out at the football, then walk straight past it and continue to the FanProjekt, a BMG fan club with bratwurst and plenty of other options, packed with hardcore supporters. For the even less refined, there’s an Edeka supermarket right by the ground where you can pick up the constituent parts of a meal and make it for yourself there and then.
